Today I continued driving southward to my intended undisclosed location. As I did in early 2019, I stopped at South Of The Border, a Mexican-themed tourist area. Unlike my first visit, I arrived too early to eat lunch and had already eaten breakfast, so my stop this time was brief. I naturally took a pic of Pedro holding his sign, from across the road that is both U.S. 301 and U.S. 501.
Here's the tower with its sombrero-shaped observation, and the Fireworks Fort Pedro sign. The El Toro sign is to the left.
Another Fort Pedro sign appears to the left and in front of several other signs and figures, including an oversize gorilla.
Finally, I had to take a shot of the South Of The Border sign that can be seen from nearby Interstate 95. The El Toro sign is again in the background to the left.
I resumed driving and am now near the southern end of South Carolina. See youz soon.
