Thursday Things

Due to yesterday being a holiday, Thursday might feel like a Monday, but even with the unusual workweek, the things keep going on:

From Sky News, London prepares to welcome (to use the term loosely) President Trump with a balloon.  (The story comes via Breitbart London, where I asked in the comments if the balloon would be flown over the Battersea power station.)

From Voice Of Europe, Hungarian Prime Minister Orban gives German Chancellor Merkel a piece of his mind on migration.

From Russia Today, British politician Nigel Farage tells the E.U. that in forming an army, they are "hell-bent on colliding with NATO".

From Euractiv, the U.K. plans to overhaul its fishing policy, including how much access is given to E.U. countries.

From the NL Times, the Netherlands immigration service will change its religion and sexuality tests for asylum seekers.

From The Federalist, another possible SCOTUS nominee is very similar to our currently newest justice.

From the Fox4, female Texan 1 - SUV thief 0.  (via the New York Post)

From The Daily Caller, Senator Kamala Harris calls eight signers of the Declaration of Independence "immigrants", even though they came from the same British empire as those who were born in the American colonies.

From BBC News, a black politician in Oregon gets racially profiled.  (The profilers get the "stupid people" label.)

And from The Babylon Bee, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) asks Americans to stop mailing him books on economics.
