Today I went out to see another lighthouse on Lake Erie, this one in Huron, Ohio. To see it, I had to walk from a parking lot to a viewing area along a pier. First, I had to get past some local residents.
To reach the viewing area, I had to walk up some ramps.
After getting to the top, I took this shot looking back at the pier.
Here's the lighthouse and some adjacent scenery. I couldn't get very close to it.
Here's why. Since I don't move very fast over uneven stones, and didn't wish to have an unpleasant encounter with Huron's finest, I obeyed this sign.
I decided to take another picture of the lighthouse, this time with some zoom. My camera kept focus, but somehow, a black hole appeared to the left of the lighthouse. Or maybe it was a portal to another dimension.
