Today I took it relatively easy and walked into downtown Gatlinburg for some lunch and a few sights. Close to the center of town is the Gatlinburg Space Needle, seen here with the Gatlinburg SkyLift in the background and parking lots in the foreground on both sides of the street.
Here's a closer shot of the SkyLift, with part of the SkyBridge in the background on the left.
I understand that the Skybridge has a glass bottom, which makes the old adage "don't look down" impossible to observe.
