Links For 10/10

Today is October 10, which may be rendered as 10/10.  Thus, here on 10/10 are some things going on:

From ANSA, Pope Francis likens abortion to "hiring a hitman".  (Many of us on the right have problems with this pope, but on abortion, he has remained a staunch pro-lifer.)

From France24, Saudi Arabia tries, rather dismally, to join the Francophonie.  (How many Saudis speak French, as either a first or second language?)

From the Independent, according to the chief Brexit negotiator for the E.U., checks on agricultural goods moving between Britain and Northern Ireland will increase tenfold.

From VRT NWS, 195 foreigners living in Belgium lose their residence permits.  (A country enforcing their immigration laws?  What a concept!)

From Sputnik International, according to the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation, ISIS terrorists seized two barrels of chlorine near the village of Ltamenah.

From Khaama Press, a video purportedly showing an imam in Afghanistan abusing women leads to several women being victimized in honor killings.  (Please note that women were killed for allegedly being victims of sexual abuse.)

From Gatestone Institute, will Asia Bibi get life or death?  (The last three stories were found at The Religion Of Peace.)

From Investor's Business Daily, Sears could very soon file for bankruptcy.
