Links For Obama Day

On Twitter, today is Obama Day, as in the birthday of our most recent former president.  So as Barry enjoys the conclusion of his 57th trip around the sun, here are some other things going on:

From Voice Of Europe, are the white British vanishing?

From Deutsche Welle, for people from the western Balkan states, getting a visa to work in Germany is very difficult.

From The Quint, the death toll for the suicide bombing at a mosque in Gardez City, Afghanistan reaches 39.  (The article describes the attackers as "burqa-clad".  Were they two men disguised as women?  If so, that would seem very underhanded.)

From Gatestone Institute, Great Britain again welcomes radicals.  (At the same time, they keep Martin Sellner, Brittany Pettibone and Lauren Southern out.)

From National Review, "are you a seven-day Christian?"

From The Washington Free Beacon, Republicans in Illinois want to take back road money that had been allocated for Obama's presidential center in Chicago.  (A birthday present in reverse, you might say.)

From CheckYourFact, are there really more job openings than unemployed people?  (Considering that there are different ways in which unemployment is measured, there might be more than one definition of "unemployed person", and thus different numbers of people being included in the count.)

From Deadline, Jean-Luc Picard is coming back.  (via The Verge)
