On The East Side Of Maryland And Delaware

Today I did a little exploring of the eastern shore of Maryland, and also went into Delaware, maybe by less than 100 feet.  From my undisclosed location, which does not include the parking lot in the foreground, I could see part of Isle of Wight Bay.  The bridge is Maryland route 90.  The land on the other side is the Isle of Wight, which is much smaller than its namesake in England.

Looking in a slightly different direction, you can see one of the local businesses.  You might have to walk across the bridge at the left in order to patronize it.

Unlike where I stayed in Virginia Beach earlier this year, my current undisclosed location is not directly on the Atlantic Ocean.  I had the idea of visiting a beach in Ocean City, Maryland, but paying for a parking place required a smartphone, which I don't have.  So instead, I drove northward to the Fenwick Island Lighthouse in Fenwick Island, Delaware.  To take a picture without any electrical wires in front of the lighthouse, I had to shoot from an angle where another building and a local bike shop including a metal frame in front are in the way.  If GoogleMaps is correct, the lighthouse, building bike shop, metal frame, and sidewalk are all in Delaware, but the street is in Maryland.

I walked across the street back into Maryland and took this shot of the lighthouse and the building to the left, with electrical wires in front of them.

I then walked eastward along the south side of the street and took a shot of the lighthouse and a building to the right, again with wires in front of them.
