Saturday Stories

On a sunny but cool Saturday, here are some things going on:

From National Review, the incoherence of musician and Time "Person of the Year" Taylor Swift.

From Townhall, Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) angers liberals - again.

From The Washington Free Beacon, a teachers union director is arrested for allegedly shutting down traffic outside a pro-Israel conference in Denver.

From the Washington Examiner, according to a poll, former Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) is the front-runner to replace New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D).

From The Federalist, U.N. climate scientists want governments to answer to them, not to the people.

From American Thinker, President Biden meets the German Gestapo.

From NewsBusters, MSNBC host Ali Velshi "yawns" at the false accusation that the U.S. has "aided and abetted genocide".

From Canada Free Press, a surveillance computer known as the "Hammer" is "the key to the coup".

From TCW Defending Freedom, a review of the Ridley Scott film Napoleon.

From Gatestone Institute, stopping Iran's mullahs or setting them up?

From The Stream, the LGBTQ movement rewrites history.

From The American Conservative, to fight illegal immigration, "deport and deter".  (This article is about immigration policy in the U.K., not the U.S.  Unfortunately, it's the only article from today by TAC that is not behind a subscription requirement, and thus becomes the only one I could link for today's blog post.  Naturally, I prefer articles from this source that pertain to the U.S. rather than other countries.  But then, its principles might also be appropriate for the U.S.)

From BizPac Review, President Joe Biden gets tight-lipped about his son Hunter's indictment.

From The Daily Wire, police in Stewart County, Tennessee arrest a China national in the U.S. on a green card for allegedly running a marijuana growing operation out of a church.

From the Daily Caller, one Republican presidential candidate easily beats Biden in the latest poll, and it's not former President Trump.

From the New York Post and the "you can't make this up" department, a New York Fire Department paramedic is arrested for alleged drunk driving after hitting a New York Police Department car.  (Hopefully, no NYPD officers will drive any of their cars into a firetruck.)

From Breitbart, how illegal human smuggling kills.  (As I've probably mentioned before, one of the many non-racist non-xenophobic reasons for opposing illegal immigration is the danger, often lethal, to the illegal migrants themselves.  I also believe that while illegal migrants deserve to be faulted for their own lawbreaking, the real villains of illegal migration are the human smugglers and the Western citizens who support and condone such migration.)

From Newsmax, according to a poll by The Wall Street Journal, Biden's approval rating has reached a new low.

And from the Genesius Times, the island once owned by the late Jeffrey Epstein is sold to a wealthy Middle Eastern businessman named Haadid Nahkil Muhssef.
