Wednesday Links

As Hump Day (a slang term for "Wednesday") is upon us, here are some things going on:

From CBC News, Saskatchewan argues against the Canadian federal government's carbon tax.  (This is a live blog that started yesterday and was updated today.  According to my browser's "find" feature, the word "dioxide" does not appear in the article, and the formula "CO2" appears only once, not in the article's text, but in a comment.)

From The Conservative Woman, "stop shoving veganism down our throats".

From the Express, an angry lorry driver shuts down a Remainer's call for a second Brexit referendum.  (The term "lorry" is the U.K. equivalent of the American word "truck".)

From Independent Balkan News Agency, North Macedonia takes its seat at NATO's table today.

From the Greek Reporter, Greece's government continues the spending tradition that bankrupted it in the first place.  (I must acknowledge that the U.S. doesn't have too much room to talk about such matters.)

From The Jerusalem Post, an Israeli spacecraft named Beresheet will measure the moon's magnetic field.  (If all goes well, this will be Israel's first lunar mission.  The Hebrew word "beresheet", which may also be spelled "bereishit" or "bereshit", when translated into Greek, is "genesis".)

From the Jewish News Syndicate, an imam in Detroit says horrible things about Jews.

From National Right To Life News, "why can't we protect babies who survive abortion?"
