Friday Links

As we reach the halfway point of June, here are some things going on:

From The Globe Post, a Finnish court sentences an asylum seeker to life imprisonment for murder and attempted murder "with terrorist intent".

From Voice Of Europe, British MEP Janice Atkinson, who wrote the article, promises to continue fighting the E.U., deliver Brexit, and make noise.

From France24, French President Emanuel Macron calls for solidarity and reforms to E.U. asylum rules.

From Russia Today, according to the head of South Africa's agricultural department, "Kill the Boer" is directed against all farmers, not just whites.  (It's true that boer literally means "farmer" in Dutch and Afrikaans, but it's only white farmers who are accused of taking land from others.)

From World Watch Monitor, Muslims attack Coptic houses after Copts object to nude swimming.  (My spell checker accepts "Coptic" but not "Copts".)

From The Times Of India, the man believed to have shot Pakistani teenager Malala Yousafzai has reportedly been killed by a U.S. drone strike.

From Yahoo News, a restaurant chain accused of kicking out women for wearing hijabs will undergo diversity training and offer free drinks for the end of Ramadan.  (In other words, they've Starbucksed themselves.)

From National Review, ten rules for dealing with dictators.

From The Daily Signal, a conservative shareholder grills the CEO of Dick's over their anti-gun policies.

From The American Conservative, remember the kids who live without their fathers.

From Philly(dot)com, anyone want some guacamole?

From Breitbart's Big Government, according to the IG report, Lisa Page and Peter Strzok bypassed the FBI chain of command to brief Andrew McCabe.

And from HokieSports, Virginia Tech's new assistant football coach for safeties has sent a bunch of his pupils to the NFL.
