This morning I took a hike from a parking lot on West Virginia route 32 south of Davis, WV to Blackwater Falls in the state park of the same name. Here's what a short section of the trail looked like.
The trail included a bridge over a small creek and its rocks.
The trail crossed a utilities cut, which allowed me to see the Blackwater River upstream from the falls.
I eventually reached the falls.
From a slightly different angle, with some foliage in the foreground toward the right, I could focus more on the observation deck on the other side of the river.
