Today I decided to explore Celebration, Florida, which was founded in the mid-1990s by The Walt Disney Company. After finding a place to park, I came up Lakeside Promenade Fountain, which was working intermittently. The young boy to the left looked like he was waiting for the fountain to start up. Lake Rianhard and a walkway on its other side are in the background.
Also just beyond the lake is the Bohemian Hotel.
Here's another section of Celebration's waterfront. The large green building is the Downtown Diner.
This building looks like it was once a theater, but now it's a confectionary restaurant named Kilwins.
Rows of suspended lights span Market Street.
Just beyond Market Street is Water Street Park, which includes a waterway spanned by a bridge.
After getting some lunch, I wandered back over to the fountain, which this time was active. Lake Rianhard and the Bohemian Hotel were again in the background.
From another bridge, I took a pic of this channel, which is really an extension of Lake Rianhard. Where the channel narrows and bends toward the left, it is spanned by a pedestrian bridge.
The trees on the left were along a street where I had parked by rental car. I was soon on the road back to my undisclosed location. For more on Celebration, besides the link above, go to Celebration Town Center, Orlando Insider Vacations, There She Goes Again and Experience Kissimmee Florida.
