Earlier today, I explored a section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania called Fairmount Park. The area includes the Belmont Mansion, part of which houses the Underground Railroad Museum.
The area had quite a few large trees, such as these. The Belmont Mansion is in the background.
Farther south in the park is the Catholic Total Abstinence Fountain, which includes several statues and is located within a traffic circle.
Extending eastward from the traffic circle and fountain is a long grassy strip of land between two rows of trees. They eventually lead to the Centennial Arboretum and the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center.
A few hundred yards northeast of the fountain is Ohio House, built to be the Ohio state exhibit for the Centennial Exposition of 1876.
That's all for now. I hope to visit some other places in southeastern PA in the next few days.
