Mass Shooting In Buffalo And Other Stories

Late yesterday, a young man from Conklin, New York reportedly shot 13 people, 11 of whom were black, at a Tops grocery store in Buffalo, New York, killing 10 of them.  According to a manifesto written by the suspect, his motive was racial hate.  (What is it with mass shooters and manifestos, already?)  One of the victims was a security guard who had been a police officer.  The suspect was taken into custody.
