Stories For The King Holiday

First, let me recount yesterday's winter storm.  The snow started in the afternoon around 2:00 p.m.  During the evening, the temperature went up a bit and the snow eventually turned to rain.  This left a lot of slush around the Bigfootmobile this morning, and some residual snow on it.  Slush can be easy to drive through, if you're reasonably careful, but it's heavy when you shovel it.  With a bit of shoveling and the help of above-freezing temperatures, I had no problem driving out of my neighborhood and around my town.

Other than that, here are some things going on:

From National Review, new Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin (R) triggers a mask meltdown.
