As largely expected, the House of Representatives has voted to impeach President Donald Trump on two articles, abuse of his office and obstruction of Congress. The two votes were just about entirely along party lines. I'm sure that there will be lots of reaction tomorrow and later, but for the time being, here are a few related items:
From Breitbart, a report on the impeachment votes.
From the Daily Caller, according to congresscritter Devin Nunes (R-Cal), the Democrats have found a way to "make a coup attempt boring".
From WPVI-TV, what's next for the president, Congress, and the U.S.?
From the New York Post, congresscritter Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) votes "present" on both articles.
And from Twitchy, despite her earlier warnings, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Cal) has to stop her fellow Democrats from cheering.
In closing, I must congratulate congresscritter Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich) for making good on her promise that Democrats would "impeach the [bleepity-bleep]".
