Today is the 74th anniversary of D-Day, when American, British and Canadian forces invaded Normandy, a region in German-occupied France. The French don't call this operation an "invasion", but the débarquement ("disembarkment"). You can browse around this blog's archives from May 2014 to see reports and pictures from my own visit to the area. Today, here are some things going on:

From The Daily Caller, according to Whoopi Goldberg (whom I will always identify with Madame Guinan), Hillary Clinton is the real victim of her husband's shenanigans.
From PoliZette, Democrats are now telling Mr. Bill to shut up.
From LifeNews, what are Irish pro-lifers to do now that the Eighth Amendment has been repealed?
From Breitbart's Big Government, an audit in Missouri finds that thousands of inmates and dead people have been using food stamp benefits. (It appears that dead people do more than just vote.)
From Breitbart Texas, in the Rio Grande valley, Border Patrol agents find the dead bodies of three illegal aliens. (This shows that the danger to people illegally crossing the border is one of the many non-racist reasons for opposing illegal immigration.)
From NewsBusters, a Democratic Senator lies about immigration policy.
From Philly(dot)com, President Trump commutes the life sentence of a non-violent drug offender, whose cause had been championed by Kim (not the NORK leader).
From The Federalist, Trump has not been especially bad for the rule of law.
From CNS News, the American trade deficit with China hit a new record in April.
From Fox News, an explanation for the unusual orbits of Trans-Neptunian Objects might not require a Planet Nine.
From Voice Of Europe, in Germany, police find the body of a 14-year-old girl and suspect a migrant from Iraq in her death. (If you read German, there's more at Weisbaden Aktuell and the Bild.)
From VRT News, a man from Dilbeek, Belgium gets five years for fighting alongside ISIS.
From the NL Times, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will visit President Trump next month.
From the Evening Standard, U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May faces a revolt over an alleged plan to keep the U.K. tied to the E.U.
From the Express, Brexit minister David Davis warns, "...if you harm Britain, you harm all of Europe."
From Breitbart London, according to a U.K. government report, more than 95 percent of "deradicalization" programs fail.
From Deutsche Welle, Bavaria plans to get tough on asylum seekers.
From the Greek Reporter, more than 11,000 migrants have reached Greece by sea in 2018.
From Press TV, about 400 migrants try to storm the Spanish enclave of Ceuta from Morocco. (via Voice Of Europe)
From Reuters, several European leaders discuss setting up a camp for rejected asylum seekers.
From The Times Of Israel, Keith Ellison (D-MN), the first Muslim in Congress, files to run be his state's attorney general.
From Israellycool, Argentina's soccer team gives into Palestinian bullying and cancels their match with Israel.
From FrontpageMag, the ecological damage caused by incendiary kites. (If you consider yourself an environmentalist, this is why you should side with Israel against Palestinian terrorists.)
From Whimn, in Australia, a woman using a bathroom turns the tables on a man who pointed his phone into her stall. (via the New York Post)
From the New York Post, a driver in Ohio gets out of a traffic jam with an unusual maneuver.
From ABC News (where "A" stands for "Australian"), a dog who had taunted crocodiles finally runs out of luck.
And from The San Diego Union-Tribune, at a San Diego Padres game, a fan catches a foul ball in her beer, and then drinks it.
