Yesterday after I left Tonto National Monument, I made a brief stop in nearby Roosevelt. This bridge goes over the lake of the same name. You can see its reflection in the water below.
The lake is held in place by the Theodore Roosevelt Dam, seen here from an overlook.
To the east of the dam is this rock. The yellowish brown wall supports the road that leads down to the overlook.
For more on the Theodore Roosevelt Dam, go to Discover Gila County, SRP, American Society Of Civil Engineers and Culture Trip. It looks like I've finally posted everything from yesterday. Stay tuned for today's content.
