The 1989 movie Field of Dreams was filmed at a site built for that specific purpose near Dyersville, Iowa. Afterwards, it was opened to the public and still is a common stop for travelers, which today came to include yours truly. The place includes a store, a house, and a baseball field. There was no admission charge, but donations were accepted, except to tour the house. Here's the Field of Dreams store, which sells various baseball-related merchandise, with The Dugout (a bar, I think) behind it.
This is the house, seen from the front. Don't climb the fence or the wall.
On the field, some people looked like they were about to take batting practice.
From the field, I took a pic of one side of the house.
Right field included a light pole, a flagpole, and several sprinklers.
Here's a closer shot of the corn behind right field. Visitors are encouraged to walk into the corn and then back out, the latter being what the ghostly players did in the movie.
This is a view from center field. "Put me in, coach", as John Fogerty would sing.
Behind left field was more corn, and the light poles of a real stadium.
Here's the other side of the house, where tours thereof begin.

There was another overlook north of Guttenberg. From there, I saw a boat ramp in Iowa, an island which looks like it's quite vulnerable to floods from the Mississippi, and the opposite bank in Wisconsin. The island is also in Wisconsin.
After the second overlook stop, I continued to my third and last destination for the day.
